The collar has to be held on top of the Boundary Wire to activate, or it does not activate at the Boundary at all.

Replace the battery.

Adjust Range Adjuster knob clockwise to increase the distance from the Boundary Wire that the Collar Receiver activates.

Adjust the Range Switch to the other setting.

If using a Double Loop, make sure Boundary Wires are separated 1 - 1.5 metres.

If the Collar Receiver still has to be held on top of the Boundary Wire, perform the Short Loop Test.
